Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our industrial plant team. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment through comprehensive maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tasks via the maintenance management system.
• Maintain pumps, blowers, filters and associated mechanical/electromechanical plant equipment.
• Perform inspections, lubrication, adjustments, component replacement and first‑line fault finding.
• Support breakdown response, isolation/LOTO procedures, return‑to‑service testing and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain tools, maintenance records and spare‑parts usage logs; coordinate specialist repairs when required.
• Support preservation and maintenance of inactive FCR trains and assist with activation of additional trains.

Required profile

• Experience in wastewater plant maintenance on rotating or process equipment (preferred).
• Versatility in mechanical and electromechanical maintenance, especially with pumps, blowers and filtration systems (preferred).
• Current trade or professional certifications relevant to the assigned duties.
• Completion of project induction, safety/emergency training and system‑specific training (FCR, SCADA, major plant equipment).
• Willingness to maintain certifications, participate in annual refresher and cross‑training programs.
