Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel team within the Accor network. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of all electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment, supporting uninterrupted guest services and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive (PPM) and corrective maintenance for all plant and equipment.
• Monitor machine condition, detect early signs of failure and minimise unplanned downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical and control‑system issues.
• Participate in new equipment installation, commissioning, testing and hand‑over to operations.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, checklists and standards.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to boost equipment reliability, efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments to limit operational disruption.
• Maintain accurate records, work orders, equipment history and technical documentation.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, define critical spares and ensure timely replenishment.
• Supervise external contractors for specialised repairs and inspections.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial or facilities maintenance engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to lead troubleshooting teams and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Experience with root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning, KPI tracking and documentation.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
