Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and safety of all manufacturing equipment in a high‑precision sheet‑metal and CNC machining environment. This role requires a technically strong, multi‑craft leader who can manage complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems while overseeing spare‑parts budgets and utility networks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and audit daily, weekly and monthly preventive‑maintenance schedules for high‑value machinery.
• Establish and maintain a secure critical spare‑parts inventory, guaranteeing availability of long‑lead items.
• Lead rapid troubleshooting and repair of unexpected equipment failures to minimise mean‑time‑repair.
• Oversee high‑capacity plant utility infrastructure and auxiliary systems.
• Contract, coordinate and supervise external OEM service engineers for major overhauls.
• Conduct safety and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to OSHA, LOTO, chemical‑wash disposal and powder‑dust mitigation regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 7+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience in precision sheet‑metal fabrication or CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of PLC logic troubleshooting, CNC programming interfaces and hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagnostics.
• Proven ability to stay organized and decisive during major facility breakdowns.
• Fluent in English (or Arabic).
