Marketplace Data Analyst

About the role

LIVSHO is a live‑commerce marketplace connecting collectors, sellers and retailers across the GCC. As a Marketplace Data Analyst you will turn raw marketplace data into trusted reports and actionable recommendations that support sellers, buyers and the overall growth of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted scorecards covering sales, contributions, sellers, buyers and live shows.
• Analyze seller activation pathways to identify bottlenecks before first or repeat shows.
• Study buyer behavior through purchase funnels, cohorts, order frequency and category overlap.
• Evaluate show performance by comparing productivity and sell‑through while accounting for inventory and audience differences.
• Support growth decisions by assessing campaign and experiment results, explaining attribution limits.
• Investigate data quality issues such as duplicates, missing events and inconsistent statuses.
• Produce concise analyses that separate facts from hypotheses and link findings to owners and follow‑up measures.
• Document metrics and enable self‑service reporting to reduce ad‑hoc queries.

Required profile

• Strong SQL and Excel or Google Sheets skills, demonstrated on real business questions.
• Experience building clear dashboards in a BI tool and validating underlying data.
• Understanding of funnels, cohorts, segmentation and basic experiment analysis.
• Ability to prioritize commercially useful questions and explain findings to non‑technical colleagues.
• Fluent English and ability to collaborate with an Arabic‑speaking commercial team.
• Full‑time on‑site availability in Jeddah.
