Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our AlUla team and support a major construction project. The role involves supervising mechanical works, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and delivering high‑quality installations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor mechanical construction activities across all project phases.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and verify mechanical installations against approved designs.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire‑protection and other mechanical services installations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor testing, commissioning and quality control procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, technical documentation and progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.
• Prior experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) firms.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑protection and mechanical building systems.
• In‑depth understanding of mechanical codes, standards, quality control and safety requirements.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities.
