About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to support the PET line at the Almanhal Water Factory in Almadinah. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operation of mechanical equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on the PET line and related equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures, including hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, compressors and chillers.
- Conduct root cause analysis using BDA/GSTD methods and replace critical spare parts.
- Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics and diagrams to guide assembly and repairs.
Required profile
- Mechanical Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on PET line mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
Required skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, shaft and motor alignment.
- Experience with blow‑molding machines (SIDEL, Krones) and PET line equipment.
- Ability to use testing and measuring equipment for fault diagnosis.
- Familiarity with compressors, pumps, chillers and reverse‑osmosis (RO) units.
