Medical Science Liaison

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison will be based in Riyadh and will act as a scientific bridge between the pharmaceutical company and healthcare professionals. This role focuses on building scientific expertise, supporting clinical initiatives, and ensuring accurate medical information is shared.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep scientific and medical knowledge of the company’s products.
• Facilitate scientific engagement, exchange, and provide medical information to healthcare professionals.
• Deliver clinical presentations and respond to medical inquiries.
• Provide medical support for patients and assist with formulary access following global and local policies.
• Support the planning, implementation, and completion of medical activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations.
• Assist Marketing, Sales, and Regulatory teams on scientific and medical matters.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal training of medical and sales staff.
• Support clinical research, Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), and observational studies in line with SOPs.
• Attend scientific meetings and conferences, and develop summaries, presentations, or symposium materials.

Required profile

• Saudi national (Saudization requirement).
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science (PharmD, PhD, or MD).
• 1‑2 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Riyadh.
