MEP Project Manager

About the role

The MEP Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex construction projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from hand‑over documentation to final close‑out. This senior position requires strong commercial, risk and stakeholder management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender and pre‑construction hand‑over documents, identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate daily with client leadership, internal departments and execution partners.
• Manage project milestones, deliverables and ensure compliance with SOPs and health‑safety regulations.
• Prepare and present status, risk, schedule and progress reports using standardized templates.
• Lead the project team, resolve disputes promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Project Controls Engineer and QS to produce detailed budget and cost forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years as a Project Manager.
• Relevant degree from a recognised university or equivalent trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ).
• Proven experience delivering data‑centre projects.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to use project control tools and generate standardised reports.
