Mine Operator

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking a Mine Operator to run heavy‑equipment on its mining sites in Riyadh. The role focuses on safe, efficient extraction and drilling to supply high‑quality feedstock for gold and precious‑metal refining, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 mining objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate drill rigs, excavators and haul trucks according to the daily mine plan.
• Follow all site safety protocols, including Permit‑to‑Work systems and PPE usage.
• Conduct daily pre‑start inspections and report mechanical issues for preventive maintenance.
• Record tonnage, fuel consumption and equipment hours in the digital shift‑log system.
• Assist drilling crews with precise equipment positioning and blast‑zone security.
• Implement dust‑suppression and spill‑management measures to meet environmental regulations.
• Provide detailed handover reports to incoming shifts.
• Participate in emergency drills and respond to incidents as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational certificate in heavy‑equipment operation.
• Minimum three years of experience operating mining machinery in an industrial environment.
• Valid Saudi driving licence for heavy vehicles.
• Ability to work rotating shift patterns and prioritize safety.
