Music Teacher

About the role

One World International School is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join its faculty in Riyadh. The successful candidate will inspire students across various music disciplines, fostering a love for music while delivering curriculum aligned with the IB Diploma Programme and American standards.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a range of music forms and instruments to enhance student interest and proficiency.
• Design, prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet IBDP/American curriculum requirements.
• Prepare and coach students for annual day events and school‑level competitions.
• Assess, record and report on student progress and development.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback during PTMs and as needed.

Required profile

• At least two years of full‑time teaching experience as a qualified teacher.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Familiarity with IB and/or American curriculum frameworks.
• Experience in an international school environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Music theory and practical instruction.
• Lesson planning and curriculum development.
