Network & Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network & Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, secure and maintain our on-premises and cloud network infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, performance and compliance across Sophos firewalls, Cisco switches, Microsoft Azure and Intune environments.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Sophos XG/SG firewalls, including security policies, intrusion prevention and VPNs.
• Administer Cisco switching infrastructure, handling routing, VLANs and network performance monitoring.
• Implement and monitor Microsoft Azure security services, identity management and conditional access.
• Manage endpoint protection and device compliance through Microsoft Intune.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyze security logs and respond to incidents.
• Develop and enforce security policies aligned with NIST, ISO 27001 and other best-practice frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to securely deploy new technologies and document network configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or related field.
• Proven experience in network administration and cybersecurity engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Sophos firewalls, Cisco switching, Microsoft Azure and Intune.
