Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor ensures accurate financial reporting and cash handling during overnight operations while delivering a welcoming experience for guests. This full‑time position supports the hotel’s accounting functions and upholds safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Control and secure cash and cash equivalents according to hotel policies.
• Organize and maintain files and records in line with retention and confidentiality guidelines.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
• Audit and reconcile revenue postings.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting incidents as needed.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally by phone and in writing.
• Support team goals and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and handle cash responsibly.
