Onsite Software License Support Engineer

About the role

The Onsite Software License Support Engineer is responsible for activating, installing, configuring and testing software licenses for enterprise projects in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia. The role works closely with project teams to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and to support smooth software roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform software license activation, installation, configuration and testing according to company standards and contractual agreements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during software rollout and deployment.
• Ensure software usage stays within purchased license limits and identify compliance risks.
• Educate project team members on deployment procedures and transfer knowledge in both Arabic and English.
• Assist procurement by recommending appropriate license quantities and types.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company information and adhere to industrial security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, software deployment or license management.
• CompTIA A+ certification (mandatory).
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills, with the ability to work independently and within project teams.
