OpenShift Engineer – Onsite in Riyadh

About the role

The OpenShift Engineer will design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift environments for enterprise containerized workloads. This onsite role in Riyadh ensures platform availability, scalability, performance, and security while working closely with internal teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and maintain OpenShift clusters on bare‑metal and virtual platforms.
• Administer Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters to guarantee high availability and operational stability.
• Perform lifecycle tasks such as installation, upgrades, patching, scaling, backup, recovery and decommissioning.
• Troubleshoot platform, container, infrastructure and application issues.
• Automate provisioning and operations using Ansible, GitOps, ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate OpenShift with load balancers, DNS, ingress controllers, firewalls and MetalLB.
• Configure storage solutions including SAN, NFS, Ceph and OpenShift Data Foundation.
• Implement security controls (RBAC, IAM, image security, vulnerability and secrets management) and monitor health with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and ELK Stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and Linux system administration.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with application, infrastructure, security and network teams.
