Operations Manager – Express Delivery & Hub Operations

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Operations Manager to lead and optimise end‑to‑end express delivery and hub operations. You will ensure seamless first‑mile, sorting, transportation and last‑mile processes while driving efficiency, safety and KPI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full logistics chain – pickup, sorting, transport and final parcel delivery.
• Monitor daily hub activities to meet operational targets and service level agreements.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes and driver dispatch to reduce transit time and costs.
• Track and report key metrics such as On‑Time Delivery, delivery success rate and cost‑per‑parcel.
• Lead process‑improvement projects to lower parcel damage, missing rates and customer complaints.
• Supervise and mentor supervisors, sorting staff, couriers and fleet personnel.
• Oversee manpower planning, shift scheduling and peak‑season resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety policies and local transport regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in express delivery, last‑mile logistics, e‑commerce operations or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to manage large operational teams and multi‑site hub environments.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills (Hindi/Urdu or Arabic) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics management systems (WMS/TMS).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Operational data analytics capability.
