Optometrist – Optical Division

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our Optical Division. The role combines clinical eye examinations with a strong focus on guiding patients toward suitable eyewear solutions and supporting store sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests, diagnose visual problems and prescribe glasses or contact lenses.
• Fit contact lenses, conduct follow‑up assessments and educate patients on proper lens care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensure clinical instruments are calibrated and the clinic complies with hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team to translate prescriptions into product sales, recommend lens upgrades and help achieve store targets.
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints and provide counseling to build long‑term relationships.
• Train and support staff on basic eye‑care concepts and product knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry.
• 1–4 years of experience in a retail or clinical optometry setting.
• SCFHS license or equivalent certification.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
