Oracle APEX Application Support Engineer (Contract)

About the role

The contractor will join YALLO Group’s IT team in Riyadh to maintain and enhance enterprise applications built with Oracle Application Express (APEX). The role focuses on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and integrating APEX solutions with external services while adhering to ITIL processes.

Key responsibilities

• Debug and resolve APEX application issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and deployment guides.
• Provide 24/7 operational support for APEX applications.
• Integrate APEX solutions with REST/SOAP web services, LDAP/SSO, and other external data sources.
• Write efficient PL/SQL functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for high‑performance workloads.
• Develop scheduled jobs, notifications, and background processes using PL/SQL.
• Create interactive reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5‑8+ years of experience with Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development.
• Mandatory Arabic reading and writing proficiency.
• Willingness to work in a 24 × 7 support environment.
• Oracle certifications (OCP, APEX Developer) are a plus.
