Painting Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Painting Supervisor to lead daily painting operations on construction sites. The role involves planning, assigning tasks, and ensuring that all painting work meets quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily painting activities on site.
• Assign tasks to painters and optimise manpower utilisation.
• Ensure surface preparation, paint application and finishing are performed according to specifications.
• Inspect completed work for quality, uniformity and compliance with standards.
• Manage proper use, storage and handling of paints, tools and equipment.
• Monitor material consumption, report shortages or wastage.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure use of appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and other trades.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work schedules.
• Prepare daily progress reports for management.
• Identify and resolve work‑related issues and technical challenges.
• Train and guide painters to improve productivity and workmanship.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising painting crews on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of surface preparation, paint application and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to safety standards and proper PPE usage.
• Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.
