About the role

The Paramedic provides immediate, high‑quality pre‑hospital and in‑hospital emergency care, following established medical protocols. Working in fast‑paced environments, the role demands quick decision‑making and skilled clinical interventions to stabilize patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered care while respecting physical, medical, and cultural needs and maintaining confidentiality.
• Operate and maintain EMS vehicles and equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
• Stay current with EMS trends and healthcare developments to respond effectively to patient needs.
• Complete administrative tasks promptly, keeping vehicles ready for deployment.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss operational updates and care protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including skills maintenance and research.
• Anticipate potential problems, respond appropriately, and contribute to improving patient care and the work environment.
• Adhere strictly to approved medical protocols and privilege lists.
• Utilize medical supplies efficiently to avoid waste.
• Collaborate with team members to foster effective teamwork.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic.
• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services or a higher related degree.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Valid Light Transportation Driving License and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration.
• STEP English Test score ≥ 65 % or IELTS ≥ 5.0.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification.
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS) certification.
• Valid Light Transportation Driving License.
