Patch Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Patch Management Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end patch lifecycle across our enterprise environment in Saudi Arabia. The role involves evaluating, testing, and deploying patches for Windows Server, RHEL and a range of third‑party applications while ensuring strict change‑control compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a fully automated patch management solution from detection through deployment.
• Review, evaluate and investigate all published patches (Microsoft, RHEL, applications) before release.
• Deploy patches following controlled, sequenced and automated processes, handling inter‑dependencies.
• Maintain and share detailed patch reports covering installed, missing, supported and latest patches.
• Collaborate with IT Systems Operations teams to ensure full lifecycle management and compliance.
• Identify system vulnerabilities, report them and support remediation efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in OS patch management, vulnerability assessment and enterprise system maintenance.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server patch management.
• Hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) patch management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft and third‑party application patching, including databases.
• Proficiency with automated patch management tools and patch lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL‑based change management and change control procedures.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and mitigation techniques.
