Pilates Instructor

About the role

SportPlex is looking for an experienced and passionate Pilates Instructor to lead safe, engaging, and high‑quality Pilates classes for members of all fitness levels. You will help participants improve strength, mobility, posture, and overall well‑being in a welcoming studio environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mat and equipment‑based Pilates sessions (Reformer, Tower, Chair, etc.).
• Create class programs that align with SportPlex standards and member needs.
• Provide modifications and progressions for diverse fitness levels.
• Teach proper form, breathing, alignment, and movement precision.
• Maintain a motivating, inclusive, client‑centered class atmosphere.
• Educate members on safe equipment setup and usage.
• Keep the studio clean and ensure all equipment functions correctly.
• Report attendance, feedback, and any safety or equipment concerns.
• Support workshops, events, and promotional fitness activities as needed.
• Stay updated on new Pilates techniques and training trends.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, and movement mechanics.
• Ability to teach both group classes and one‑on‑one sessions effectively.
• Excellent communication and client‑engagement skills.
• CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Professional, reliable, and member‑focused attitude.
• Passion for Pilates and continuous professional development.

Required skills
