About the role
The Poly Commercial Account Manager is responsible for driving growth with strategic commercial customers. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, apply consultative‑selling techniques, and mentor junior account managers while managing large‑scale deals and portfolio performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own account plans for strategic commercial accounts, focusing on high‑value opportunities and portfolio management.
- Identify complex customer requirements, map them to Poly’s capabilities, and select optimal direct or indirect supply‑chain solutions.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, understand their business needs, and align solutions accordingly.
- Design and execute sales, territory, and market‑penetration strategies to achieve significant revenue growth.
- Analyse KPIs and market trends, providing strategic insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with partners to improve win rates on selective deals and meet quarterly, half‑yearly, and yearly sales quotas.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage renewals, and ensure profitable, long‑term agreements.
- Maintain the sales pipeline, update opportunities, and conduct regular strategic business reviews with key clients.
Required profile
- Four‑year degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 7‑10 years of experience in account management, preferably within technology products such as computers, printers, servers, or storage.
