Process Operator

About the role

Operates and maintains plant equipment to achieve production objectives safely, cost‑effectively and reliably, in line with daily operating plans and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with EHS policies, apply risk control measures and ensure safety of all personnel in the work area.
• Operate plant equipment, monitor flow meters, temperature and pressure gauges, and record process variables.
• Assist with basic frontline maintenance, process sampling, testing and troubleshooting during normal and upset conditions.
• Prepare equipment and work areas for mechanical, maintenance and turnaround activities, and follow weekly PM/CM schedules.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis and communicate continuously with shift leader and head operator.

Required profile

• Diploma degree with a minimum of 2 years of operational experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, write reports and present information to managers and stakeholders.
