Procurement Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The role supports the procurement department by sourcing materials, services and equipment, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing strategic high‑value suppliers and obtaining quotations.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
• Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts.
• Compare supplier quotations on price, delivery and payment terms.
• Prepare comparison statements for management review.
• Generate and process purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery status.
• Support vendor registration and pre‑qualification processes.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Assist in cost‑saving initiatives.
• Resolve basic supplier or delivery‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Basic knowledge of procurement procedures.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
