Procurement Lead - Development & Construction

About the role

Efficio is seeking a Procurement Lead to join its Saudi operations and support large‑scale development and construction projects that contribute to Vision 2030. You will be embedded within client procurement functions, driving end‑to‑end sourcing activities and ensuring value‑focused delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full procurement lifecycle from requirements gathering to purchase order execution for development and construction contracts.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across categories such as engineering, design, construction, turnkey projects, and interior finishes.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, client policies, and local regulatory frameworks, including Local Content and ICV requirements.
• Build strong relationships with project managers, finance, legal, and engineering teams to align procurement decisions with project goals.
• Oversee requisition and PO processes, resolve budget checks or system issues, and ensure timely execution.
• Lead supplier onboarding, pre‑qualification, and performance management to secure capable vendors.
• Analyse spend data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve supplier performance.
• Deliver internal training on procurement systems and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing procurement for large development or construction projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Familiarity with Vision 2030 objectives and local content regulations is a plus.
