Procurement Manager – Contracts & Procurement

About the role

Wood is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead contracts and procurement activities for a new gold mine and processing facility in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the Projects business and aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Review EPCM contractor procurement plans, material requisitions and schedules.
• Coordinate technical evaluation of vendor proposals, bid tabulations and commercial evaluations.
• Validate purchase orders, vendor documentation, logistics plans and quality assurance measures.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), vendor inspections and expediting activities.
• Manage long‑lead items, track equipment and resolve vendor‑related issues.
• Ensure timely integration of vendor data into engineering deliverables.
• Support coordination between engineering teams and procurement functions.

Required profile

• Experience reviewing procurement plans and schedules for large‑scale projects.
• Ability to coordinate technical and commercial evaluations of vendors.
• Strong attention to detail in purchase order validation and logistics planning.
• Proven capability to manage long‑lead items and equipment tracking.
