Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager is responsible for securing the best terms, discounts and long‑term contracts with suppliers for goods, services and supplies. This role supports both customer‑related processes and internal operations while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long‑term contracts with suppliers.
• Manage purchases that support customer‑related business processes and internal use.
• Address defects and delivery issues with suppliers and negotiate refunds.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to schedule and move goods efficiently.
• Lead the Procurement team to develop a strategic procurement approach.
• Ensure procurement processes meet legal, technical and commercial requirements within a strict regulatory framework.
• Drive value for money across goods, services and works procurement.
• Review, develop and implement procurement processes and procedures, communicating changes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to create appropriate contracting strategies that protect the business.

Required profile

• University degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 9 years of procurement experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a procurement team.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
