Procurement Manager – Logistics

About the role

Americana Foods is seeking a Logistics Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and management of transportation, warehousing and related logistics services across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait. The role combines strategic planning, supplier relationship management and cost optimisation while ensuring food safety standards are upheld throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for logistics services, including transportation and warehousing.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and monitor industry trends.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to secure favourable terms.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key logistics providers, monitoring performance and compliance.
• Perform regular supplier reviews and audits to ensure quality and contractual adherence.
• Manage the logistics procurement budget, track cost savings and report on financial performance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance logistics operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in logistics procurement or a related field.
• Proven experience managing procurement across Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a procurement team.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and compliance requirements.
