Procurement Officer

About the role

BanoPuratos, a fast‑growing joint‑venture in the Middle East, is looking for a Procurement Officer to join its Riyadh team. You will support the Procurement Manager in delivering best‑value purchases, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring smooth inbound logistics for our high‑quality bakery and pastry ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and executing the department’s strategic plan.
• Prepare and analyse stock reports, considering sales feedback and item movement.
• Review pro‑formas and quotations, issue purchase orders, and manage related procurement documents.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent gaps and coordinate daily procurement cycle reports.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database and ensure shipments are insured when required.
• Enter special orders into the ERP system and provide customers with Certificates of Analysis and Technical Data Sheets on request.
• Review customs documentation, liaise with shipping agencies, and resolve discrepancies to avoid demurrage and port fees.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in stock management or goods purchasing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of procurement cycles, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and produce accurate reports.
