Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to oversee the purchasing process, ensuring that the organization receives the right materials, products and services at the best possible price, quality and delivery schedule. The role will act as the main point of contact between internal departments and external suppliers, supporting operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities aligned with business needs.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with potential suppliers.
• Compare quotations and select optimal options based on price and quality.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery performance.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Review invoices, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams.
• Prepare regular purchasing and supplier performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Excellent communication, organization and follow‑up skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management.
