Project Controller – Finance

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Finance Team as a Project Controller – Finance and support worldwide book‑closing, reporting and intercompany activities. You will partner with project managers to ensure financial planning, analysis and reporting are accurate and aligned with corporate goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage projects within approved budgets, collaborating closely with Project Managers.
• Proactively handle financial and accounting matters, improving controls and reporting.
• Provide consistent and accurate forecasting of revenue, costs, progress, schedules and contingencies.
• Apply fundamentals of engineering, drilling, supply chain, HR and P&L operations to estimate costs and revenues.
• Develop strong relationships with project team members and lead financial discussions.
• Assist in project closure, preparing financial documents for after‑action reviews and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in FP&A or finance management.
• Experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
• Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven analytical problem‑solving ability and leadership of programs/projects.
