Project Engineer – Electrical Substation

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing electrical substation projects across several locations in Saudi Arabia. The role involves technical and administrative coordination, schedule monitoring and effective communication with all project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day‑to‑day project planning, coordination and execution of electrical substation projects.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate material deliveries with suppliers and site teams.
• Prepare regular project status reports for management and client review.
• Coordinate submission, tracking and approval of technical documents.
• Maintain accurate records of spare parts and punch‑list items.
• Monitor and follow up on the closure of pending technical and administrative issues.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings, representing project interests as needed.
• Support the resolution of engineering and project‑related issues in coordination with technical teams.
• Review project invoices for accuracy and alignment with contractual terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience; fresh graduates and early‑career engineers are welcome.
• Saudi national.
• Professional, well‑presented demeanor suitable for client‑facing interactions.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
