Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead the engineering coordination for complex industrial projects, ensuring that all technical requirements are met from concept through to final investment decision and project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and monitor the engineering scope to guarantee project requirements are fulfilled.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering activities, managing interdisciplinary interfaces with discipline engineers and contractors.
• Ensure engineering requirements are reflected in all deliverables and create supporting documentation for each project stage.
• Lead project‑specific design reviews and develop the overall engineering plan.
• Report progress against engineering scope, quality, and schedule, identifying gaps and proposing corrective options.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and QA/QC processes, including resolution of non‑conformities.
• Provide liaison between engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Assist with plant design, constructability reviews, procurement strategies, and technical negotiations for high‑value equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering design or project experience in industrial engineering, construction, or process industries.
