Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join the Finance Department of Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh. In this role you will support the Director of Purchasing in ensuring that all hotel departments have the supplies they need to operate efficiently and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Purchasing with day‑to‑day procurement activities, including order placement, tracking and follow‑up.
• Maintain compliance with corporate policies, hotel SOPs and local regulations.
• Coordinate with department heads, especially the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director, to forecast and fulfil supply requirements.
• Ensure HACCP and FLHSS standards are met from product sourcing through storage.
• Safeguard confidential guest, customer and employee information in accordance with data protection policies.
• Support learning and development initiatives within the purchasing team.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Director of Purchasing or Purchasing Manager.
