QA/QC Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will join ACSC’s Projects Department in Riyadh to ensure that all construction activities meet approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, Saudi Building Code standards, and the company’s quality criteria. The role focuses on site inspections, material approvals, testing, non‑conformance management, and quality reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ACSC’s Quality Management System on assigned projects and maintain the Project Quality Plan.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) with project and technical teams.
• Conduct daily site inspections, verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved material submittals.
• Raise and track Inspection Requests, attend consultant and client inspections, and monitor laboratory test results.
• Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Maintain inspection records, quality logs, material approvals, test reports, and NCR registers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports, KPI dashboards, and management summaries.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and approved laboratories to resolve quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code and international quality standards.
• Proven ability to manage non‑conformance processes and drive corrective actions.
