Quality Engineer

About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to drive continuous improvement, support audits, and promote quality awareness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize quality performance improvements using data analysis and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Investigate non‑conformances, determine root causes, define corrective actions and drive them to closure.
• Create and analyse large datasets from multiple platforms to identify trends.
• Support the Quality Manager with target setting and internal/external audit preparation.
• Perform in‑process and product inspections, testing, sampling and validation activities.
• Maintain and update quality records in accordance with procedures.
• Share quality methodology, tools and best practices through training and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions of Quality Improvement teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of experience in the elevators & escalators industry.
• Quality certification (ISO 9001) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE or CQA are a plus.
