Roads Engineer (Full-time, m/f)

About the role

ARX is expanding its Middle East presence and seeks a Roads Engineer to join its Riyadh office. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of road and highway projects, ensuring they meet local standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise road and highway layouts for infrastructure projects.
• Perform geometric, traffic, grading, and pavement analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review technical deliverables from engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support multidisciplinary coordination.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience on infrastructure projects, focusing on roads and highways.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of local road design standards and regulations.
