Senior Architectural Design Engineer

About the role

Fahad Al-Reshoodi Engineering Consulting Company is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Design Engineer to join its Riyadh‑based team. The ideal candidate will have more than eight years of professional experience in architectural design and engineering consultancy, with proven expertise in Saudi regulations and the Saudi Building Code.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectural concepts, detailed drawings, layouts and technical documentation for diverse projects.
• Review and coordinate design submissions to ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, local authority requirements and project standards.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, interior design and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct quality‑control reviews of architectural deliverables and review shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents.
• Prepare design reports, presentations, technical documentation and project‑related correspondence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and engineering consultancy, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of the Saudi Building Code and local authority approval processes.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English; Arabic is preferred.
