Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will drive top‑of‑funnel activities, generate qualified sales appointments and expand the customer base for renewable‑energy solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role combines prospecting, market research and coordination with internal teams to move leads through the early sales stages.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and create new sales opportunities through outbound cold calling and follow‑up of inbound leads.
• Pre‑qualify prospects and schedule meetings with the Department Head for further qualification.
• Conduct market research to pinpoint commercial and industrial customers for solar leasing, power‑purchase agreements (PPA) and energy‑efficiency projects.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date prospect database, removing duplicates and ensuring data accuracy.
• Log technical requests, coordinate site‑visit appointments with engineers, and liaise with legal, finance and design teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits and environmental standards.
• Prepare weekly status reports and keep accurate documentation of project activities and contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in renewable‑energy or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and research abilities to identify high‑potential customers.
• Excellent organizational skills for database management and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work independently and meet weekly reporting deadlines.
