Sales Executive - Data Centers

About the role

Data Center Sales Executive required by a global, multi‑award‑winning consultancy client. The role is a subject‑matter‑expert, quota‑bearing sales position focused on landing and converting qualified leads identified by the Client Management team. You will work directly with clients and internal experts to present data‑center solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain domain and industry subject‑matter expertise in data‑center technology.
• Support closure of data‑center sales using deep technology knowledge.
• Address technology conceptual challenges throughout the sales process.
• Maintain high‑level product and service knowledge for meaningful client conversations.
• Stay aware of competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategies to penetrate new markets.
• Collaborate with technology vendors to understand and integrate their solutions.
• Engage with clients to uncover business goals and articulate appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and conduct client workshops and presentations, building relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Pursue and land qualified leads identified by client managers and other sources.
• Develop and maintain clear account and opportunity plans to drive sales.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals for a major IT consultancy or systems integrator.
• Experience developing and maintaining senior‑level customer relationships.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and employ a team‑selling approach.
• Strong knowledge of competitors and ability to apply successful sales strategies.
• Client‑centric approach with the ability to understand problems and propose best‑fit solutions.
