Sales Executive - Data Centers

About the role

Data Center Sales Executive required by a global, multi‑award‑winning consultancy. The position is a quota‑bearing, subject‑matter‑expert role focused on converting qualified leads identified by the Client Management team. You will work directly with clients, architects and internal experts to design and sell data‑center solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain domain expertise in data‑center technology and solutions.
• Support closure of data‑center sales using technology knowledge.
• Address conceptual technology challenges throughout the sales process.
• Stay informed of competitive landscape, market pricing and penetration strategies.
• Engage clients to uncover business goals and propose tailored solutions.
• Prepare and deliver client workshops, presentations and secure deals to meet sales quotas.
• Identify and act on new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• Develop and maintain clear account and opportunity plans.
• Partner with internal teams to track scope of work and proposals.
• Use sales methodologies and tools to drive the sales process.

Required profile

• Proven success achieving and exceeding sales and financial targets in a major IT consultancy or systems integrator.
• Experience building senior‑level customer relationships.
• Strong ability to deliver engaging sales presentations.
• Team‑selling approach and knowledge of competitor strategies.
• Client‑centric mindset with ability to define sales strategy and solution capabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to short missions or urgent deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills to craft mutually beneficial solutions.
• Accurate sales forecasting and close‑plan maintenance.
• Track record of solution‑based selling and over‑achievement.
• Experience selling complex data‑center technology solutions and services to senior clients.
