SAP Application Specialist

About the role

Our client, a multi‑business group in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, has recently gone live with SAP Business ByDesign and is moving SAP ownership in‑house. They need a hands‑on SAP Application Specialist to act as the internal focal point, supporting users, refining workflows, building reports and configuring processes across finance, procurement, sales, inventory, operations and HR.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP contact for users across all departments.
• Provide day‑to‑day SAP user support, troubleshooting and guidance.
• Configure and fine‑tune SAP Business ByDesign workflows, approvals and business processes.
• Build and maintain SAP reports and management dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into practical SAP improvements.
• Coordinate with the SAP implementation partner on complex configurations and escalations.
• Liaise with internal IT and external developers for integration requirements.
• Document workflows, configuration changes, reports and integration logic.
• Train users on new processes and reports and ensure knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of SAP experience, including at least 2 years in functional support or configuration.
• Proven ability to support SAP users and resolve workflow, reporting or process issues.
• Solid working knowledge of at least two of the following areas: finance, procurement, sales, inventory, operations, HR.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with non‑technical business users and translating their needs into system improvements.
