Senior Analyst, Strategy Project Management

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Strategy Project Management will lead portfolio‑level governance for strategic and transformation initiatives within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). You will ensure accurate reporting to executive leadership, maintain the company management system cadence, and act as a centre of excellence for portfolio governance.

Key responsibilities

• Track approved strategic and transformation initiatives, monitoring milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports and steering‑committee packs for senior management.
• Operate the company management system, including meeting routines, KPI cycles, action logs and follow‑up on decisions.
• Identify deviations, flag cross‑initiative conflicts and propose root‑cause analyses.
• Maintain and improve EPMO standards, templates and tools, coaching initiative owners and junior analysts.
• Quality‑control portfolio data and deliverables produced by analysts.
• Support stage‑gate and front‑end loading governance for capital initiatives.
• Provide analysis on portfolio trends, bottlenecks and benefits realisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, finance or a related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Relevant project or portfolio management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, AACE).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge initiative owners constructively.
