Senior Construction Manager

About the role

Mace is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major infrastructure, civil and building package in Saudi Arabia. The role combines a strong on‑site presence with planning, reporting and stakeholder coordination, operating on a rotation basis with camp accommodation provided.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery of civil, infrastructure and building works, ensuring compliance with programme, quality and safety targets.
• Manage contractor performance across multiple work fronts, mitigating risks and constraints.
• Oversee utility and infrastructure assets such as district cooling, generator farms, water and sewage treatment facilities, fire water storage and pump stations.
• Coordinate interfaces between contractors, consultants, specialist suppliers and client representatives.
• Review construction methodologies, sequencing plans, temporary works proposals and recovery programmes.
• Chair site coordination meetings, progress reviews and technical workshops.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering major civil, infrastructure and building projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale contractor‑delivered packages within a PMC or consultancy environment.
• Ability to obtain the necessary visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
