Scaffolding Design Engineer

About the role

The role includes delivering innovative, safe, and cost‑effective formwork and scaffolding solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations. It combines engineering design, technical coordination, and commercial awareness to develop optimized solutions from the tender stage through project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations for formwork and scaffolding systems in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project and sales teams to fulfil client requirements.
• Review technical project requirements to achieve the most economical and compliant design.
• Produce tender drawings and material lists for formwork and scaffolding.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, design codes, and quality specifications.
• Provide technical support during project execution when needed.
• Prepare precise BOQs and material lists for formwork and scaffolding.
• Attend technical meetings with clients and consultants to secure design approval before execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in formwork and scaffolding systems, including structural design.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, RSTAB (advanced), Tipo’s and Idea Statics.
• Excellent skill in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Flexibility with working hours and ability to work effectively.
• Professional attitude and conduct in line with company regulations.
• Background in steel structures is an additional advantage.
