Senior Design Engineer – Water

About the role

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to lead the design of water and irrigation networks. You will be the primary technical contact for the design team, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective solutions for large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan primary and secondary pressurised water and irrigation networks.
• Act as the main point of contact for technical issues related to water/irrigation systems.
• Compute water demands and develop network specifications.
• Prepare site plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Review deliverables, including design submissions and reports, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support additional engineering activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in designing infrastructure mega‑projects, specifically irrigation networks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
