Senior Document Control Manager

About the role

The Senior Document Control Manager will lead the document control function for engineering projects, acting as the main interface between the client and consultants. This role ensures that all project documentation is accurately captured, tracked, and distributed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary document control liaison between client and consultant, managing incoming and outgoing documentation.
• Register, track, and control documents, drawings, technical submissions, and correspondence using the approved Document Management System (DMS).
• Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, metadata accuracy, and compliance with project naming conventions.
• Verify consultant submissions for compliance, distribute documents for review, and monitor review cycles to ensure timely feedback.
• Provide training and ongoing support to clients on document control procedures and DMS usage.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in document control or related fields.
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships within complex project structures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline; IT background preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
