Senior Filling Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Filling Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring filling and packaging machines to meet production targets while ensuring safety, quality and food‑safety standards in a dairy/food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging machines according to production plans and SOPs, adjusting parameters as needed.
• Monitor machine performance, production output and downtime, ensuring correct batch codes and product information.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate with maintenance, and minimise product loss and material waste.
• Carry out cleaning, sanitation and 5S housekeeping to maintain a hygienic production environment.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities to boost productivity, quality and waste reduction.

Required profile

• High school qualification or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in filling operations within dairy, food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with automated filling and packaging equipment, preferably Tetra Pak, SERAC, ARMI or Krones.
• Experience with fresh dairy, UHT or long‑life products is a plus.

Required skills

• Operation of automated filling and packaging machines.
• Knowledge of Tetra Pak, SERAC, ARMI, Krones equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and machine adjustment skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
