Senior Human Rights & Gender Equality Expert

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium to prepare the EU‑funded Egypt Downtown Facility project. The assignment aims to strengthen EU‑Egypt partnership through high‑quality technical assistance on human rights, gender equality, social inclusion and civil‑society development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on human rights, gender equality, social inclusion, civil‑society development, participatory policy dialogue and rights‑based approaches.
• Conduct policy and institutional assessments, stakeholder consultations and analytical studies to support civil‑society organisations and public institutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in human rights, law, political science, gender studies, development studies, social sciences or a related field.
• Fluent in English (C1) and Arabic (C1); French is an asset.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Egypt or the MENA region.

• Human rights law and gender mainstreaming.
• Rights‑based approaches in international cooperation.
• Policy and institutional assessment, stakeholder consultation and analytical research.
