Senior Interior Architect / Designer – Site Based

About the role

The Senior Interior Architect / Designer (Site Based) will lead the interior design delivery on construction sites, ensuring the approved design vision is accurately executed. Acting as the primary interior design representative, the role coordinates with clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers to achieve high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Protect and maintain the approved design vision throughout construction, reviewing design documentation, shop drawings, material samples and mock‑ups.
• Provide technical design guidance to contractors, consultants and project stakeholders, and resolve design issues on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor workmanship quality, and ensure compliance with design documentation.
• Respond to RFIs, contractor queries and technical submissions, coordinating with all parties to keep the project on schedule.
• Deliver interior design packages within agreed timelines and quality standards, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Mentor junior designers, foster collaborative relationships and share best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex interior architecture and design projects from concept to handover.
• Strong technical and construction expertise with a solutions‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently on site, resolve challenges quickly and maintain design quality.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
